I have attempted a couple of MGMAT tests - The quant is tougher than the GMATPrep, hands down.

I'm not sure on the verbal - I thought it was relatively the same, however, my score said a different story :)

I got 700 (49/37). But considering the trend, I wanted to retake it. After taking GMATPrep once again (740/770), I decided to try MGMAT. But the scores from MGAMT were not close to ones from GMATPrep. Highest verbal score was 39 (47 was th e highest and most recent score from GMATPrep though), and I ended up with the same score from the real test. What would be the correlation between MGMT and GMATPrep? Does anyone have similar experience? Which one can be a better indicator for the real test? Pls reply. Thanks!

GMATPrep is the best indicator of your capabilities (though scores on repeat CATs can be slightly misleading). MGMATs CATs are good, but their approach to both math and verbal is different from the real thing. For instance, RCs on MGMAT are harder than the real test's. So while I wouldn't go by MGMATs scores, I find their CATs (and especially their explanations) to be good practice material.
