What is the value of n?


(1) \(\sqrt{n}\) = 2

(2) \(\sqrt{4n}\) = 4


Statement 1: squaring both sides, we get n=4. Sufficient.
Statement 2: squaring both sides, we again get n=4. Sufficient.

D is the answer

What is the value of n?


(1) \(\sqrt{n}\) = 2

(2) \(\sqrt{4n}\) = 4


we are looking for the value of n.

statement 1: \(\sqrt{n}\) = 2 = n = 4. Sufficient. to get the value of n , square both sides of the equation.

Statement 2: \(\sqrt{4n}\) = 4 = n=4. The same as 1.

D is the correct answer.
