(1) \(3x∗4x\)=144

\(12^x\) =\(12^2\) - SUFFICIENT

(2)\((10^x)^x\) =10,000

\((10)^x^2\) = \(10^4\) - SUFFICIENT

x can equal 2 and -2 in (2), so I would go with (A).

IMO A.

Have to find value of X.

1. X=2, Sufficient.

2. X=4, therefore, values of X possible are +2/-2. Not sufficient.

Hence, A.
