Statement 1: 3 prime numbers are there 29, 31, 37, we cannot say which 2numbers are being added together. So, not sufficient
Statement 2: 2+17= 19
But we know 19 is the sum of distinct prime factors. So repetition of 2 or 7 may be happening which we are not aware of. So not sufficient
Statement 1 & 2 together:
31+37= 68= 2*2*17
Hence the value of x is 68

(1) x is the sum of two distinct prime numbers between 25 and 40.
(2) The sum of the distinct prime factors of x is 19.

#1
x=29,31,37
not sufficeint
#2
x = 17+2
only possible
from 1& 2
31+37 = 68
68 = 2^2 * 17

IF YOU FIND MY SOLUTION HELPFUL, PLEASE GIVE ME KUDOS

(1) X is the sum of two distinct prime numbers between 25 and 40. So x is the sum of any two primes 29,31,37,39. This gives possible values of x to be 60,66,68, 70, and 76 NS

(2) The sum of the distinct prime factors of x is 19. x could be 77, or x could be 34, NS

(1) and (2) The only sum from (1) whose distinct prime factors sum to 19 is 68. Sufficient

The answer is C
