What is the value of x ?
(1) 1/2x = ( 1/2)^4
2X = 16 : X = 8
(2) 2(x + 1) = 3(x − 2)
2X + 2 = 3X - 6
X= 8
Ans D EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.

(1/2)*(1/x)
= (1/2)*(1/2^3)
x=2^3=8.
Statement 1 alone is sufficient.
Statement 2:
2(x + 1) = 3(x − 2)
2x+2=3x-6
x=2+6=8
Statement 2 alone is sufficient.
Option D is the correct answer
