Sum of angles of triangles= 180

a+3a+5a= 180

9a = 180

a=20

Hence a=x= 20

Hence A

Sum of interior angles of a triangle=180
=> 3a+5a+a=180
=>a=20
And "a" and "y" are vertically opposite angles.
=>a=y
So,
y=20 degrees.

given 9a= 180
a= 20
and a=y
so y=20
IMO A
