Hi there. I would highly recommend a few threads/resources such as this one:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/low-undergra ... 79977.html (though most of these will be in the 2.9 vicinity).
GPA is a very strong data point for schools when they consider your commitment and ability to graduate. But your life is not over! You can off-set it with GMAT and show your work history and then have your career track to be the proof. You can also explain it in your essays including an optional essay. Some people do have a good reason to have a not so high GPA (jobs, military deployments, family hardship, and other stuff life throws at you).
Now about your exact question, I am curious too but I have a call so I would suggest you do some research. Go here:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/decision-tracker.html and then load a bunch of pages and filter the results (arrow drop down on the left). I have looked through some results but have not found anyone with a 750+ but sub-2.5 GPA. I found a few folks who had a lower GPA but also a low GMAT Score. I think you may able to have a great turn around story in your application and a great recovery - everyone loves that, and I can see how even the top schools would love to have someone who has managed to reverse a downward trend. Schools love diverse classes and they like strong personalities. You have a good shot if you put all the pieces together nicely. Your result will be determined by your story, interview, and you rather than your numbers.
Good Luck!
