I am a Civil Engineer with 3 years experience planning to applying to MBA next year in order change of my carrier direction.
I realize with my current job, too difficult to move up the ladder, I will never able to achieve my full potential and top management level.
What I dislike about my current job :
1. Travel a lot. I need to move to another location every new project execute.
2. Low pay salary.
After I pursue MBA, what I expect I can penetrate in Top Level of Management, but, I still have no idea what kind of industries fit with me.
In my new job, what I expect:
1. High pay salary
2. Not travel a lot. No need to sleep in hotel, home is heaven.
3. Balance of work and life. Family first.
Seems like I am not for Consulting and IB due to my 3rd reason.
Can anybody here, tell me what kind of industries match with my hunger?
What is the best schools (especially in US) can help me to achieve this?
