At my school, it requires one to choose an emphasis/option in the MBA program. I am not too sure which one to choose: Finance or General Management. I have a B.S. in business. I've taken numerous finance courses throughout my undergrad and grad.
I want to choose General Management b/c it's interesting, but I felt that Finance may lead me to a job quicker upon graduation.
My goal is to find a finance related job (perhaps entry level financial analyst) after I graduate even if I end up choosing General Management as my option.
I see job listings that require a B.S. in business, accounting, or finance and it prefers a MBA. It didn't state that it wanted a MBA with emphasis in Finance or Management.
Please help me. I need to declare an option in a week. I don't know what to do.

I would side with an emphasis in Finance. Most recruiters understand that the core curriculum of an MBA already covers general management but an emphasis on finance would be attractive to some recruiters in financial services and corporate finance.
