What percent of the visitors to a certain zoo visited the lions cage?

(1) A quarter of the visitors who did not visit the lions cage were male.

a quarter = 1/4 or 25% of the visitors didn't visit. It means 75% of the visitors visited lion cage

(2) Three quarters of the visitors who visited the lions cage were female.

Similarly 75% of the visitors visited iron cage

Hence each of the statement is sufficient enough to answer the question. Hence D.

Please correct me if my reasoning is wrong. Thank you

(I) says a quarter of the visitors who do not visit the lions were male
lets call X the people who do not visit
the only thing we now is that \(\frac{x}{4}=male\) and that \(\frac{3*x}{4}=female\) but we don't have information about x as a percentage of L or total
INSUFFICIENT

(II) again is the same as before we know just that a percentage of L (visitors of lions) were female, but we do not have any relation of L to total
INSUFFICIENT

(I)and(II)
clearly insufficient. we just know percentages of female/male of both L and X , but nothing about they relation to total

IMO E
