Hello guys,
I'm from Azerbaijan and I am going to apply for SSE MSc in Business&Management program for 2018 intake. Having read posts of fellow applicants made me stressed as there are very strong applications which I think will take me out.
Could you please evaluate my profile and giving me a picture of my chances of getting into SSE:
-24 y.o
- Bachelor's in Organization and Management of Industry from a well-known local university with 520/700 entrance exam score and GPA of 82/100 (approx. 3.0/4.0)
- an internship at Central Bank;
-1 year military service after graduation;
- First work experience abroad (Central Europe) as a trading consultant at a brokerage firm for 5 months;
- Currently working at Central Bank as a junior risk management specialist for 8 months. (it will be one year next January, so I won't have even a year of formal work experience at the time of application as my first work experience wasn't formal, it was not counted as an experience, I can only show a proof that I worked there, that's all.);
- Had an IELTS score of 7.5 but expired, I will retake;
- Currently prepping for GMAT, aiming for 700+;
- no extracurricular (except sports I did, when I was at secondary school).
What do you think of my chances? And could you please advise me how can I improve my profile?
Thanks beforehand and best of luck for all applicants:)
