Long time lurker here since beggining of this year. To get to the point, I am preparing my applications for Round 2. I am European, working as a Consultant for T2 strat house, with 5 years of experience and I have confirmed sponsorship for the MBA.
I've had a difficult journey with the GMAT with the following official scores:
-Exam #1: 620 (Q35, V41)
-Exam #2: 640 (Q42, V37)
-Exam #3(Online): 620 (Q44, V31)
I just haven't been able to score consistently, with a suprising flunk in verbal for the online exam, which was when I felt most prepared.
I decided last week to try the GRE as a last ditch, during the one practice exam I did, I saw that I had a very good score in quant and bad verbal given the vocabulary is quite difficult (so I decided to cram vocab for this week while managing work on the side).
Nontheless, I took the exam this morning, enjoying the shorter format and scored:
-Exam #1: 322(Q161,V161)
I understand this score rougly translates into a GMAT 660, but is suprisingly close to average and median scores for the programs I am looking at (I know the caveats the averages have for the GRE given the lower incidence). If you were me, what score would you submit, given I could report more than one GMAT score, showing that I am capable of scoring higher in individual segments, but just haven't been able to (I understand that is part of the difficulty).
