How did you decide on your section order for the GMAT Focus Edition, and did changing it actually boost your score?
Choosing the right sequence seems to come down to where you can afford to take a mental hit near the end of the 2.5-hour mark. I’ve seen three main arguments:
- Quant First: Clears heavy calculation work while your brain is 100% fresh to prevent silly arithmetic errors.
- Verbal First: Protects high-focus Reading Comp and Critical Reasoning logic before eye fatigue sets in.
- DI First: Knocks out the highest-pressure, most data-heavy section early so you aren't fighting brain fog during Multi-Source Reasoning.
For those who have tested or taken multiple official mocks:
Which order gave you the best performance, and how did you prevent a burnout crash in section 3?
