I have my GMAT Focus exam scheduled on the 23rd of September. When I started my preparation, my overall mock score was 435. I just took a recent mock and got the following scores:
- Data Insights (DI): 66
- Quantitative (Q): 72
- Verbal (V): 77
I'm applying for Master in Management (MIM) programs for Fall 2026 intake, so this score is important for my applications. I've been using Jamboree's practice materials and mocks for my prep, and I've been studying consistently since August.
At this point, I know the concepts, but I struggle with applying them properly under timed conditions, especially when it comes to test-day strategy and maintaining accuracy. Rescheduling isn’t an option, and now I’m debating if I should plan for a retake, or if focused changes can help me push my score over 625 for this attempt.
If anyone has been in a similar spot or has advice for maximizing improvement in the last week—especially for tightening up accuracy and time management—I’d really appreciate your input. Thoughts on whether to push through or start considering a retake strategy would also help!
Also, I was initially planning to apply in Round 1, but given my current score situation, does it make sense to push my applications to Round 2 with a hopefully better score? Would appreciate advice on the pros and cons here.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
