Hi, guys.
I would appreciate you helping me to make a decision.
I am 23 years old and a recent graduate with a 750 GMAT score. I have 1-year part-time work experience at a local M&A boutique firm and currently working at Big 4 Advisory department in a Central Asian country. Preparing for CFA L1, as well. What would be better:
1. To apply for MSc in Finance this year with the aim of getting into IB.
2. Work for a couple more years(2-4) and apply for MBA.
I assume I will get analyst position after MSc and in case of 2-year MSc program, I will be 26 by that time. In the case of MBA, considering the economy of CA countries (except Kazakhstan) and the capital market situation I will not have opportunity to get involved in deals of the category that are done in developed countries, and it makes think that I will not be competitive enough for places where I want ideally (M7, Insead, LBS).
