On combining the information present in both the statements,

i think answer is c as(1) The call lasted 8 minutes.
(2) The cost of the first minute of the call was $0.32, which was twice the cost of each minute of the call after the first.
statement 1 last for 8 min but doesn't know about cost.
statement 2. Now know about cost but don't know about duration of that certain call
combining both for 1st min 0.32+ 7*0.16
