Hi erikvm,

It might be that part of your problem is that you're focused on a 'book heavy' approach. While you might learn certain skills easily from reading text, from what you've described, trying to learn math AND GMAT strategy skills in this way doesn't seem to be working real well. It might be that you need to train using a different 'medium.'
