Ringo and Paul pool their marbles and place them into as many bags as possible, with 6 marbles per bag. How many marbles will be left over?

Ringo's left over 4 marbles and paul's left over 3 marbles can fill one 6-marble bag and 1 marble will be left over.

Let ringos marble count = 16 ; 2 bags ; left 4 marbles
and Paul marble count ; 9 ; 1 bag ; left 3
total 16+9 ; 25 marbles; 25/6 ; 1 left
