No, the age of your GMAT does not matter. If you took the exam one day prior to the deadline or 4 years prior to the deadline, it makes zero difference.
The only thing to note is that your score is valid for 5 years from the date of your exam. So if you are confident you are planning to apply within the next ~5 years, go ahead and take the exam. If you think there's a chance you'll wait 5+ years, then you might want to hold off. Since you are indicating you are targeting 2-3 years, go ahead and take it. Most importantly, good luck.

Admissionado AdmissionadoThank you for clarifying my doubt.
I have one more concern that is troubling me. As per my research (I may be wrong), before commencing on the MBA journey, one should clarify why MBA. This aspect is a little hazy for me. I don't know how I can get a clear picture. Is the rationale behind doing MBA is some career goal that one wants to achieve, or is it some skills that one wishes to acquire. Or is it something else like the curriculum that makes you a better entrepreneur or manager etc.
If it is a career goal, can you direct me to some resources where I can find the future prospects of an MBA?
If it is skills, can you guide me on how can I suit it to my interests or skills?
Or can you give general guidance if I have gone wrong in my questioning?
Thank you
