(A) one's analytical ability means succeeding
Incorrect.
This answer choice is grammatically incorrect due to a parallelism error. What helps us identify this kind of Parallelism error and correct it is the following Stop Sign: A is/means B
Whenever you come across a sentence containing this structure, make sure that:
(A) A and B are grammatically parallel (i.e., of the same part of speech).
(B) A and B are logically parallel.
In this answer choice, A is a noun (ability) whereas B is a verb (succeeding).
(B) one's analytical ability means to succeed
Incorrect.
This answer choice is grammatically incorrect due to a parallelism error, and repeats the original mistake. What helps us identify this kind of Parallelism error and correct it is the following Stop Sign: A is/means B

Incorrect.

(B) For better parallelism with a noun (ability), prefer a noun (success) to an infinitive (to succeed).
(C) "their" does not agree with "one".
