I'm normally a huge fan of plugging in, but this one feels like that's going to be a headache. Let's do the Algebra. Our goal is to either solve for both a and b separately or to isolate a-2b on one side.

Translating from the question stem, we have: \(3a=6b-4\)

Subtract 6b from both sides: \(3a-6b=-4\)

Divide both sides by 3: \(a-2b=\frac{-4}{3}\)

Answer choice B.
