Hi mohitgupta1994,

Finance-focused MBA programs put a heavy emphasis on an applicant's Quant Scaled Score. With a Q51, you have that "part" of the application covered. By extension, your missing points are all going to be found in the Verbal section of the GMAT.

There are plenty of options when it comes to studying. Since you're not in any rush, you might find that starting with book-based study makes sense. Many Test Takers get "stuck" at a certain point using this approach, so I normally don't recommend it for anyone who's trying to learn the entire GMAT in a shorter period of time. In your situation though, you have more time and more freedom to experiment. We'll know more about how you're progressing once you do a bit of studying and take another practice CAT.

On that last point, I do want to make some specific suggestions - practice CAT results are most accurate when you make the experience of taking one as "test-like" as possible. So, you should take the ENTIRE CAT (including the Essay and IR sections) and do so in a "test-like" environment (not at home, at a quiet location on a desktop computer if possible).

It's a bit early to be thinking about specific MBA-programs, but we can certainly talk about it once it comes time to cover that subject in more detail. For now, your focus should be on building up your GMAT Verbal knowledge and skills.
