Hi Ashadddddddd,

Many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores - and January 31st, 2024 is now less than 3 months away, so to hit your Score Goal (on the current version of the GMAT) in that timeframe, you will have to be really efficient with your studies.

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have that Score, you should report back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hi Ashadddddddd,

Based on your situation, I think you'll need more than three moths for prep. That said, why don't you take a practice test to see where you are at?

Hope the topic is still alive I do the right thing by not creating another topic.

Heello everyone, my name iss Nick.

I have absolutely the same question but the "the background" is little bit another.
I have a long path of preparing to GMAT, so I have a good base. Curently I am studing on TTP course. I have good quant results, low level 90-100%, medium 80 and hard ~60%. Regarding verbal I am weaker (as all I think): low 70-80, medium 60-70 and hard 50-60%. But I went through less than 50% of course. To summarize, for me it is bad that there will be no SC section, because, it is a way to improve verbal result little bit.
My target is to get at least 650 (better 680+). Mock test on mba com is in my earest plans to evaluate real result.
All in all I am good at math, average at verbal. What will be the best choice for me: to try gmat online before 31.01.24 or forget this and change my learning plan aad concentrate on focus in spring?

PS: There are no gmat test centers in my country, so for me this is a little bit risky to take online test and fail. Of course it won`t stop me, If needed I`ll fly in another county to take test. Just want to chose the most efficient and money-safe way.

Thank you.
