Hi,

I am a BI professional and been working since last 20 months. I intend on taking the GMAT this year and target Colleges in India-ISB and Great Lakes to be precise.
It would be great if you could give me an idea of when should i target my GMAT(December will that be too late??)
Probable scores needed.
And what can be the best strategy of preparation?
Currently i am using the Official Guide for GMAT and going topic by topic for the same.

Hi Aditi,

If you are targeting to apply to ISB this year,I would suggest you to take the GMAT before September(1st deadline of ISB). Try scoring 720+ in the GMAT which will give you an upper hand in the admission process. Try to apply in the 1st round to maximize your chances of getting the admission. Work hard and try solving maximum questions before your GMAT. You can also take up mock GMAT test here: https://goo.gl/LT72yk

You should generally budget 2-3 months prior to the deadline you are aiming for.

So if the deadline is in January - then you should budget December for essays/recommendations and October/November for the test.
