I'll vote 'B' too. veronica's concern was before she purchased the mirror. hence takes past perfect untill she purchased the mirror. nd 1st part takes simple past.. am surprised with OA.. wats the explanation??
IMO A. My 2 cents: I've some concerns. (Simple Present Tense) Clinton had some concerns. (Simple Past Tense Similarly Veronica had some .... Now definitely purchasing the mirror occurred earlier than hanging the mirror hence had purchased is correct as per my understanding
