When x^2 is rounded to nearest decimal, is it equal to 9?
1) When x^3 is rounded to nearest decimal, it is equal to 27
2) when x is rounded to nearest decimal, it is equal to 3

IMO A.
1. 26.5 < x^3 < 27.5 => this is only possible when x is very very close to 3. So x^2 will be definitely very very close to 9. So this is possible

2. 2.5 < x < 3.5 => 6.25 < x^2 < 9.x => clearly cant say

1 is sufficeint
