Hi team,
I have given 4 mock tests online (one every week) and my scores haven't quite changed. My scores are as follows:
1. 560: Manhattan
2. 570: Manhattan
3. 550: Manhattan
4. 570: Knewton
My problems seem to lie verbal as a whole and DS.
I want to give my GMAT by the end of October, 2011 and I am looking to hit a 680+. Do you think there is sufficient time to do so? Where do I go from here? Is it a good idea for me to appear for the exam as planned?
Thanks in advance.
Hari
You need to give a break up of Verbal (SC, RC and CR) and Quant (PS, DS) scores to get advice. The strategies used for the three sections of Verbal are different. PS and DS test the same concepts in different formats. A 570 doesn't tell us much.
'Do you think there is sufficient time to do so?'
It absolutely depends on you - what your weak areas are, whether you are prepared to work hard and more importantly smart, whether you are willing to put effort into things that are more mundane (e.g. analyzing every answer choice in SC) but very important etc
