Hi Everyone!
Aside from using GMAT scores and other stats to narrow down where you fit in - what are some good resources for finding a school that is a good fit as far your academic and personal interests, teaching styles etc.?
Some schools are "world famous" for certain concentrations but there are many great schools and I'm not sure where it would be best to even use my energy to visit.
I am from NY and have been living in Northern California for the past year- I hope to either stay here or apply to schools on the East Coast.
I have a background in marketing (specifically magazine publishing) and currently work in the event development field (forming 3rd party partnerships/sponsorships) for a large retailer.
I'd like to research schools with strong marketing programs (aside from Kellogg) and am not sure the best way to find out accurate information on their programs - they toot their own horns so going on their websites and reading about how strong their program is isn't always the best indicator.
What tools have you all found useful in researching programs prior to visiting??
THANKS!!!
