Hi everyone,
One of the schools I'm applying to has an Optional Essay with an open question about what else would you like to highlight about your application.
Because of the word limit, I can only pick 2 out of 3. Which two do you think would be more suitable?
- Highlight how an important, close mentor, who was an alumnus of the school inspired me and my current goals. I think this could create a personal connection to the school and demonstrates a long-term interest.
- Further highlight how my professional background contributes toward my goal. My first essay (a statement about my goals) focuses mainly on my personal motivations (which are strong), so I thought it could be crucial to give more insight about my experience. The thing is, my CV and LoR should give a lot of insight into this too?
- Highlight a personality trait that I think is one of my defining strenghts and sets me apart, and linking this trait with different accomplishments throughout my career/life.
What do you guys think? Thank you!
