Hi Members,
GMAT – 660 (Q42 V38 IR 2 AWA 5.5) I know I goofed up in IR and my quant was not that strong
GPA - 4.0 ( First Division) - 5 year Integrated LLB and LL.M from a A+ university in India
Experience – 11 years running my law practice (working with many start-ups and mid size businesses ranging from technology to manufacturing and advising them on legal and strategical aspects, helping in investment cycles and day to day legal issues)
I am interested in a One year MBA
Interests after MBA - Getting a good International management and business exposure before setting up my legal tech venture.
I have read a lot of content and have got confused in which schools should I apply. Please help in scaling down to top 5 schools in which I stand a chance

HI there!
Are you planning to retake the GMAT? That will be a huge factor in the competitiveness of your profile. Although it's good that you don't come from an engineering background, as an Indian male you are still coming from the toughest demographic out there when it comes to b-school apps & it's one that tends to have very high GMAT scores. Indian males who get in tend to have GMAT scores that are20-30 points above a school's average. Like I said, the fact that you aren't the typical engineering/tech applicant will help you for sure, but you will still be compared against that demographic to some extent, so you'll want to target schools where you are a bit above the overall GMAT average. Generally speaking in order to get into a top school you need at least a 700 (and given your demographic, a 720 would be ideal!) The fact that you are a non-traditional applicant will be both a strength and a challenge. On the one hand, it differentiates you, and the fact that you plan to have a legal twist to your post-MBA goals is smart. That will show the adcom that the 5 years of law experience you do have will be an advantage in your career. On the flip side, since you are a non-traditional applicant, it's that much harder to prove to the adcom that you're up for the rigors of b-school (especially the quant side) & that's where the GMAT comes in again. The adcom uses the GMAT to gauge you ability to keep up in b-school so again it makes it that much more important to get the highest score possible.
If you do stay at 660, I'd look at schools such as USC, Katz, and Gatton. If you can score a 720 then schools like NYU, Cornell, and Duke would be options.
