Hello
I'm a professional in my early 30's from a developing country. I have an engineering background, with 8 years exp and all my career has been in a regulator (public sector)
I would like to do an MBA in 1 year and transition to consulting. I see many consulting companies have regulation practices and i think it could be interesting for me.
What BSchools send their grads to top consulting companies ? last i remember Wharton, NYU were for finance careers, Stanford for tech etc...
what do you think guys?

Most of the top schools recruit well into consulting. If you are also looking at a 1-year MBA, then you should consider the following schools:
Duke (Fuqua)
Northwestern (Kellogg)
Cornell (Johnson)
USC (Marshall)
Emory (Goizueta)

Among the US programs, many place well into consulting. The 1-year program options are slimmer but many programs now have a 1-year option.
Outside of the US, INSEAD is the ultimate consulting program that is 1 year.
PS. If you can get into a top 20 program, there’s a pretty decent chance they would have consulting company officers on campus recruiting people and attending classes. You can confirm this by talking to some of the current students or attending information sessions with AdCom.
