Statement 1:
A candle made of 100 grams of beeswax burns longer than a candle made of 80 grams of soy wax.
100 Bee wax > 80 Soy Wax.
10 Bee wax > 8 Soy wax.
case 1:
With beeswax and soy wax =2 respectively. We get, 20>16. Beeswax burns longer than soy wax.
case 2:
With bee wax = 3 and soy wax =4. The equation becomes, 30 < 32. Beeswax burns lesser than soy wax.
Two contradictory results. Hence, Insufficient
Statement 2:
A candle made of 100 grams of soy wax burns for shorter than a candle made of 80 grams of beeswax.
100 Soy wax < 80 beeswax.
which means, 80 Beewax is greater than 100 soy wax. 80 beeswax > 100 Soy wax
Thus, 100 Beewax is definitely greater than 100 soy wax.
100 Beeswax > 80 beeswax > 100 Soy wax.
Hence, Sufficient

We need to find whether 100B > 100S, which can also be expressed as B > S.
We need to find whether B > S.
Statement (1)
100B > 80S
B > 0.8S

Possibility 2: If S = 1 and B = 100, then B is greater than S.
