Which coaching class to select in Mumbai - Jamboree or Excel Academy

Hello, Can any one help me with which of the following is the best classroom coaching - Jamboree or Excel Academy. I am totally confused between the two.

Can you take some time out to attend a free session at one of the Jamboree Mumbai centers? That way you'll be able to speak with the instructors and (equally importantly) the students there. If you time it right, you'll also be able to meet and speak with people who've finished the classes and are close to taking the exam.

There are plenty of options when it comes to preparing for the GMAT besides taking a live class. Is there any particularly reason why you're limiting yourself to just these 2 options? Most GMAT companies offer some type of free resources (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.), so that you can "test out" a product before you buy it. I suggest that you take advantage of all of them, then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

1) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
2) What is your score goal?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

Hi Rich,

Actually I did some online coaching but was not able to apply the concepts to tougher problems, my plan was to give it in December so I can apply for round 2. Now its gone for a toss, I want to go for September 2016 intake, I am trying my best .. Do you have any suggestions if September 2016 is achievable. I am targeting an average score of 650 + at least.

Can you suggest if 2016 is a possibility.

There's no way to define a realistic timeline until we have a better sense of your current strengths and weaknesses.

If you're just beginning, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a bit of practice first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the general content and question types first, then that's fine - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.
