Hi, I am planning to apply to ISB this year (Sep 2024 R1) for the class of 2025-26, I have a BSc in Biotechnology & MSc in Bioinformatics, +3 years of work ex a Program Manager/Founders Office.Does this come under Academic Diversity?
pratibhasharma i hope that you are well. I see a common misconception on this forum among people targeting isb. Educational/academic degrees do not necessarily contribute to the diversity aspect when it comes to applying to top tier business schools. Applicants are seen as unique individuals because of what they have done and achieved throughout their career, and how valuable their insights and point of view will be in class discussions. You would be considered a diversity profile if your work is in some of the less represented areas. In your case, you would need to tell us what area/sector you work in at your current company as a program manager in the founder's office and what is special about it?
