Quote:

2. Please complete/address two of the following statements.
Full-time candidates (Two-Year and One-Year Programs) must complete/address choice F as one of the two options. Please limit each response to one, double-spaced, typed page.

A. I have always wanted to....
B. My most memorable cross-cultural experience....
C. My family background is unique because....
D. The person who has had the greatest influence on my leadership style is... because...
E. The greatest lesson I have ever learned....
F. Of Goizueta’s core values (courage, integrity, accountability, rigor, diversity, team, community), which value resonates most with you and why?

Here is a Essay for Emory!

Which will be a better choice among A to E

Initially i was tempted to choose B as i lived/worked in various parts of the world but realised, that the cross culture stuff is already dealt in career goals/leadership essays.

whats ur take.....Go and tackle Essay B or add a new dimension to my essays by focusing on The greatest lesson I have ever learned.... or the person whose leadership etc ? or any of the other option

cheers

Personally, i like B, the cross cultural experience.... especially since u have lived in diff places and might have some nice story for the adcom:) but again like others said, it really depends where do u have a best story..

I chose "D." All b-schools are big on leadership, but Emory is BIG!!! on leadership. They have GALA, LEAD Week, Leadership programs galore; all of which focus on the L-word. This question asks about something directly related to leadership, so I would go for that...that is if you have a good story to tell.

Hi There!

You may want to contact https://www.bestessayservice.com I had similar questions, and I was glad that they knew how to discern what works best.

I think it depends on your stories. I aim for the best story instead of the most fitting essay. Yes a school may love a leadership essay but if your material is weak for that you are better choosing one that you can hit a home run on.

My advice, brainstorm and idea for each. Spend a night or two thinking about which one you can develop the best and then use that. I am partial to teamwork, leadership is easily worked into the why mba, career goals, work experience essays. Teamwork seems to be one of the hot buzz words in b-schools (much like my least favorite: holistic)...so if you have a great teamwork story that can be a really good choice. That also allows you to talk about what you learned from it and what you will bring to the table at the school.

Then again its 11:30, I have been up since 5:30 and got no sleep last night so the above may sound like babble.

I choose to go for A

Because i feel passionate about certain aspect and in Essay A can help me bring that out
