Hi desertEagle.

Nice score improvement so far. I recall when you first started preparing.

What have been your section scores on the classic GMAT?

Also, would you please provide more details on how you have prepared so far?

Finally, one simple move you could make is to take a GMAT Focus Edition practice test and see how you do. Seeing your performance on a GFE practice test would help you to decide which test to take.

Hi

I took this test a year ago. I have been thinking of taking it again but am not able to study much due to job and family commitments. I got this score a year ago. Since then I have not been studying much.

As far preparation is concerned, I have done mostly self preparation mostly on gmatclub. I used to solve questions on gmatclub. I think i lack in Critical reasoning and RC. I take lot of time on RC and in CR i get half of 700+ questions wrong, which is reason for low score on CR. For RC I have solved 8 set 700+ questions(hardest gmat question thread) in last two days with around 85 percent accuracy.

In new version, I think I am not very good at MSR questions. So my score may suffer on IR. And my familiarity with old version is also important reason why I am a bit inclined toward the older version.

Also I need to know if my age will be a roadblock toward my MBA at top 10 US colleges?

Kindly guide

To see how you would perform on GMAT focus, why don't you take a practice exam?

I have decided to take GMAT one final time by January end. As I have prior experience of old GMAT format, should i go for old format or should i take the new one.

Consider mentioning your target score is. If you have the flexibility, one option could be to take the classic version and, later on, take the Focus in case you feel you're missing out for any reason.
