Hi,

I recently took my GMAT on Dec 30,17 and was devastated to see my score 560(Q45, V23). I am planning to take my GMAT again in June of 2018. I am non-native English speaker. As I gave my GMAT I realized that my biggest weakness is verbal and will need lots of improvement in order to get a score of 700 and above. For my first attempt what I did was a self-paced study and I had a really nice quants tutor to guide me throughout.

I just want to know which institute offers better coaching for verbal. At this point what I need is a guaranteed score improvement. I heard Egmat SC was really good and their CR and RC strategies were kinda ok. I also heard that Economist GMAT Tutor is also good.

Can you guys suggest me which one is better considering my profile and my aspiration to score above 700.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Bhavana,

Raising a 560 to a 700+ will likely take at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predicable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi,

I would have to agree with Rich. To raise your score from a 560 to 700+ it would require a lot of dedication. We here at examPAL recommend, for non native English speakers to take at least 12 weeks to prepare with 150 study hours within this time period. I would also recommend taking an online course., this way you feel comfortable taking the test come test day.

I wish you the best of luck!
