Hi,

Magoosh premium is a great option, and its video lessons are concise and well-organized. 3 or 4 months of consistent study should be a better option than a one-month plan. Through its study plans have some differences based on the timeframe, It gives full access to all the content, so you can add or eliminate some lessons.

Best Wishes!

Hello all,

I have around 4 months to prepare for the GMAT. I’m considering the Magoosh premium course but need some advice...

Is it best to go for the intensive one month plan and then focus on consolidating my learning in the remaining months or should I go at a slower pace?

Do you also happen to know whether the content between both study plans is the same or does Magoosh remove some of the content for the 1-month plan?
---

I am also considering TTP, is it better than Magoosh?

Thank you for reading me :)

Hi sophieet,

It's good that you are focusing on the study plan before you start your GMAT prep. But, it's important to make the study plan according to your requirements rather than you adapting to the study plan. Every student has one's own requirements and concerns and a generic study plan might not suit everyone. For example, a person who can dedicate 3 hours per day cannot have the same study plan as a person who can dedicate 5 hours per day. So, the study plan has to be personalized.

GMATWhiz is an personalized and adaptive course which used AI to adapt itself to the student's requirements. The course takes into account the number of hours a student can dedicate for studies in a week and then creates a study plan. You will be having weekly tasks and deadlines. You just have to finish them and follow the study plan. And if you are weak in a certain topic, the AI driven course automatically suggests you additional improvement modules for that topic so that you can work on your weak areas right away.

You can get your personalized study plan for free and understand the course structure by signing up for the free trial of GMATWhiz. If you are confused about which course to take, then better try the free trials and then decide which suits you the most.

Is it best to go for the intensive one month plan and then focus on consolidating my learning in the remaining months or should I go at a slower pace?

Coming to this question, it's always better to prepare in the right way which is to:
  • Learn the concepts of a topic
  • Learn the right methodology to solve questions of that topic (Most important)
  • Practice questions of that topic to solidify your learning
  • Move to the next topic only if you get decent accuracy in those practice questions

Make sure to focus on the process of solving questions. Choose a course which can make your preparation a lot more structured. We can get in touch over a call and have a detailed discussion on the study strategy and how to plan your GMAT prep. You can use the below link to get in touch with me.
