Hi,
I am planing to retake gmat. My current GMAT verbal scaled score is 29. I have never put a concentrated effort to improve my RC, and I had always only practiced RC from various source( one was Aristotle 99), I never went through the concepts or tricks and traps.
And Now I want a book which will give me sufficient tricks and also enough practice GMAT questions in RC.I want to practice with harder things, so that the actual exam becomes a cool breeze for me. I heard that the Powerscore RC books are good and lsat has harder questions. So please suggest me the best book - shall I buy LSAT RC powerscore or GMAT RC powerscore? Or any other better book in the market as per my requirement?

In my opinion, LSAT material does not reflect GMAT style so it may not be the most appropriate. Other than the books you mentioned, you can also check out Veritas RC book. It kicks off with theory (types of questions, how to tackle them etc) and gives you lots of practice passages. Mind you, some of them are the hardest you could see on GMAT (and they all reflect GMAT pattern)

Honestly, I'm not sure if reading a book on how to improve your reading skills is the way to go. But if you simply want practice, the OG and GMATPrep software should be good enough.
