Hi adityaraj1728,

From your post, it sounds as though you might be early-on in your studies. Is that the case? Have you taken any practice CATs/mocks yet? When it comes to training for the GMAT, there are a variety of different study materials that you might use - so if we don't know what your current 'ability level' is right now, then it's possible that you need different materials from the ones that you're asking about.

If you have not taken a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test yet, then you can access 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have that Score, you should report back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can come up with a study plan.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) Have you used any other study materials so far?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

The new edition has moved quite a bit of content online, mostly the advanced chapters. Also, the roadmap book is missing.

I am using the old 6th edition books (2014) and finding them pretty good till now.
Not much has been added in the new books, but a lot of stuff is removed (or shifted to the online portal).

There is a post by BB detailing the differences between 6th and 7th edition Manhattan Prep books, do check it out.
As per BB - If you are aiming for 700+, go for the old edition. The newer edition is more suitable for 680+.
