Hi JC,
Thanks for writing! Regarding whether an evening MBA is right for you, it depends on what your post-MBA goal is. Executive MBAs are typically for those who are relatively set in their industry/career and are looking to advance, whereas in evening MBA there is a mix of younger and older students, career switchers and non-switchers (although not typically dramatic switchers).
Regarding GMAT: while evening MBAs have a lower average GMAT vs. full-time MBA, you still want to apply when you have the strongest application possible, and by R3 there may not be as many spots left. I recommend seeing how it goes with the retake and considering getting in early in R1 later this year to maximize your chances if you are ok with waiting.
Regarding Masters of Analytics: I'd need to know more about your post-MBA goals to weigh in on this.
Hope this helps for now!

Hello,
I am a 39 year old Indian female with 15 years of experience in Tech consulting. I worked in India initially for few years but have been working in US since 10+ years now. My undergrad GPA was 4 on a scale of 5.
I am considering pursuing a masters degree. Full time MBA is not an option for me.
I considered evening MBA (since executive MBA's are way more expensive) , however most of the school's have 6 years of avg experience in their evening MBA profile. I have 15 + years of experience, so not sure if i will fit in there.
Few questions
1. Should i try applying in evening MBA or is executive MBA the better option for me?
2. I have GMAT score of 620 . I plan to retake soon. However 3rd round deadlines are approaching. Does it make any sense to apply in 3rd round with a 620 ? I heard that your profile should be rock solid to apply in 3rd round. does that hold true for evening/executive mba too?
3. I am also considering MS in Analytics as a 3rd and viable option. Will MBA with concentration in analytics be a better option for me than MS-Analytics considering my age.
Eagerly looking forward for suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
JC
