A straight question, best solved by plugging in data given in options
Rephrase question asks us to select an equation of a line that passes through both (-1,-1) and (-1/2,0)
Only option B will give LHS = RHS when you plug in the above two points in the options.
y = 2x + 1 => Put x = -1 and find y, is it equal to y = -1, YES
y = 2x + 1 => Put x = -1/2 and find y, is it equal to y = 0, YES
Voila it is B

Can't we just check the slope of the line using pints (-1,-1) and (-1/2,0) which will be 2 and directly chose B??
Bunuel also, please advise.
