( odd number )^2 + 2
odd number = 2n+1 ( where n can be any non negative integer )
( 2n +1 ) ^2 +2
4n^2 + 1 + 4n + 2
4( n^2 + n ) + 3 ( This eq implies it leaves remainder 3 when divided by 4)

73 ---------------- leaves r=1
61 ---------------- leaves r=1
43----------------- leaves r=3 correct
37------------------ leaves r=1
81 ----------------- leaves r =1

hence answer is C choice

I quickly plugged in the closest perfect square (no theory really). 120*120=14400, 121*121=14641 (+2 = C)
