Lets run through the intersect options:
1: The circle has only one line as tangent (i.e. above top or bellow bottom line)
2: The circle is between the two lines each of which is tangent to the top OR bottom of the circle.
3: The top of the circle is tangent to the top line and the bottom line passes through the circle. OR the bottom of the circle is tangent to bottom line and the top line passes through the circle.
4: The lines pass through the circle.
==> E
