Which of the following most logically completes the passage?

Garnet and RenCo each provide health care for their employees. Garnet pays for both testing of its employees?cholesterol levels and treatment of high cholesterol. This policy saves Garnet money, since high cholesterol left untreated for many years leads to conditions that require very expensive treatment. However, RenCo dose not have the same financial incentive to adopt such a policy, because ______.

A. early treatment of high cholesterol dose not entirely eliminate the possibility of a stroke later in life

B. the mass media regularly feature stories encouraging people to maintain diets that are low in cholesterol

C. RenCo has significantly more employees than Garnet has

D. RenCo’s employees are unlikely to have higher cholesterol levels than Garnet’s employees

E. the average length of time an employee stays with RenCo is less than it is with Garnet

We want to know why Renco isn't going to adopt the same policy for its employees.

A: Not a good reason and irrelevant. May not entirely remove the risk, but enough to be safe.
B: This is a slight possibility, but it appears out-of scope. Leave it, but put a very weak emphasis on this choice.
C: This should give RENCO more of an insentive to adopt the plan.
D: Maybe true, but they could have equal level of cholesterol. Thus, Renco SHOULD adopt the plan in this case. This choice has insufficient information.

E: Best choice and it definitely trumps our very weak B. If Renco has a high employee turnover, then what would be its incentive to pay for this plan?

Between D and E. I will pick D. .
high cholestrol left untreated for MANY years leads to high expenses.

Reason I am reluctant about E is that even though avg lenght@RenCo < avg length@Gartner, avgLength@RenCO could still be many years.

I will pick D.

Choice E- Since an avg time an employee that stays with Renco is shorter than Garnet- there is no reason for Renco to invest in their employees treatment of high cholesterol.
