C.
U can solve it by 2 methods:

1-method) put both points to given functions and check if it is true. C it is.

2-method)
slope= (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)=-3

-3=(y-y1)/(x-x1) then -3=(y-8)/(x-(-5))
-3*(x+5)=y-8 SO Y=-3X-7

C also.

Slope = (-16 - 8)/(3 + 5) = -24/8 = -3

C is the only solution with -3 slope.

As pointed out multiple methods can be used, but the easiest method is:
to
find slope of the line -
y-y1=m(x-x1)
Plug in the numbers to get m=-3

Only C satisfies the slope as -3
