Which one is correct?
a. Though he is poor, so he is large hearted.
b. Since body and mind goes together, illness of one inevitably affects the other.
c. Everybody admires them because he is honest.
d. She will not go out if it rain.
e. He was rewarded as he was truthful.

This question may seem not like a GMAT question, but I am confused about this, please someone explain.

Is body and mind singular? If yes, then explain, please.

a. Though he is poor, so he is large hearted. --> wrong: both are dependent clause
b. Since body and mind goes together, illness of one inevitably affects the other. --> wrong: with and conjuction it can not be singular.
c. Everybody admires them because he is honest. --> wrong: them does not have any antecedent
d. She will not go out if it rain. --> wrong if it rains not rain
e. He was rewarded as he was truthful. --> correct
When with and conjunction, subject means only one idea it can be singular for instance: Bread and butter is good food. Doesn't body and mind mean one idea?

I don't think any of the sentences is correct

a. Though he is poor, so he is large hearted. (if a person is poor then he/she must be large-hearted?. No no subtle rule regarding that)
b. Since body and mind goes together, illness of one inevitably affects the other. (goes is singular and noun here is not)
c. Everybody admires them because he is honest. (noun singularity and plurality confusion)
d. She will not go out if it rain. (it has to be "rains". The noun rain is usually uncountable and would take a singular verb. However in weather forecasts, when we are talking about it raining at different times in different places, we sometimes talk about heavy rains, which is plural.)
e. He was rewarded as he was truthful. (The sentence depicts 2 things, he was rewarded because he was truthful. he was rewarded as soon as he was truthful (which means he was rewarded after he was truthful, sentence confusion)

I do not think so you can say "Bread and butter is good food." It should be:
bread-butter is good food. OR Bread with butter tastes good.

Other example:
Bread and butter is my breakfast.
But here the "my breakfast" is the subject.
My breakfast is bread and butter.

Till now I have not seen any official question with "and" conjuction the subject is plural.

Feel free to hit Kuddos, if it helps. :)
