see the trend of values after decimal both are increasing and decreasing by 0.01
so value which lowest with highest unit digit value and highest with lowest unit value will be greatest

compare first 2 options then we can find the answer
A) 6.00 × 0.20 --- 6.00*0.20=1.2
(B) 6.01 × 0.19--- 6.00*0.19 =here don't have to calculate , 6.00*.19 < 1.2 and .01*0.19 = .00019 even total will be less then 1.2 --> implies Option A is answer
(C) 6.02 × 0.18
(D) 6.03 × 0.17
(E) 6.04 × 0.16

We can also rewrite this as

A) \((600) * (20) = 12,000\)
.
C) \((600+2)(20-2) = 12,000 - 1,200 + 40 - 4\)
.
E) \((600+4)(20-4) = 12,000 - 2,400 + 80 - 16\)

I felt that I needed to test this to see if it was true - I didn't want to rely on my instinct. We can see that as we decrease the value of the second term (.2), (.19), (.18)... the value starts to drop off significantly. A must be the answer
