My two bibles:
Princeton Review's Cracking the GMAT
Manhattan Review's math & verbal guide

I also took an online class though, but I know wayyyy smarter people who do fine just studying on their own

I found the Kaplan Math Workbook was pretty good for revisiting the fundamentals (by topic). I only have one Manhattan book, but it has some good strategies. If you run out of challenging materials in textbooks, I think everyone here would recommend the GMATClub Tests.

If books aren't cutting it, the GMAX Online course is great.
