Re: Which school to take up [#permalink]
Also one more thing, the employment report of fordham is worst amongst these 4 even after being located in manhattan. The rest even Uni of Tenn has better employment figs.

thx that's helpful......I thought that sjsu being located in the heart of silicon valley, I had a good chance with the alot of firms there? what do you think?

You'd be competing against Stanford and Cal MBAs, as well as UCLA and USC MBAs to some extent. Most firms are only going to recruit at relatively high-ranked schools.

Any chance you'd be interested in putting off school for a year so you can strengthen your profile and become competitive for higher-ranked schools?

To be honest I don't think that will help in any manner because I got a low GPA and GMAT. There is no chance I am taking gmat again, I won't improve.

...because it's not possible to improve your GMAT with some studying?

Have you considered that you could probably improve by studying harder/smarter? What have you gotten on your three attempts? What was your Q vs. V breakdown? What kind of preparation did you do before each test?

Re: Which school to take up [#permalink]
I got through UTK and SFSU. Now the problem is that UTK has ranked 60 in the US news and SFSU is not ranked at all.

Both have similar avg salaries. Good employment reports.

But SFSU is based in a large city and I don't know if being in Tennesee I would get a job after my study.

Please help me with some advice I'm in a fix.
